How We List and Check Dentist Clinics

Where the data comes from
Each clinic's name, rating, review count, address, phone number, website and map pin come from its own Google Maps listing. Opening hours, business category and the facilities it lists (accessibility, parking, payment options and similar) are read directly from the clinic's Google Business Profile, and the profile page shows the date they were read. A clinic that Google lists as permanently closed, or as something other than a dental business, is not listed. We do not collect or invent pricing, testimonials or photos.
What the service tags mean
A service tag appears when the service is named in the clinic's Google Maps business name or on the clinic's own website. It shows what the clinic says about itself. It is not a verified treatment menu, and a missing tag does not mean the clinic doesn't offer the service.
Clinic descriptions
The "About" summary on each profile is generated from the data above: location, rating, review count and rank within the area, and the services and contact channels the clinic lists. Where the clinic's own homepage carries a description that is unique to that clinic, we quote it in the clinic's own words and link to the page. We do not write or endorse those claims.
Credentials
Where a clinic's own website mentions a credential or accreditation, such as Malaysian Dental Council registration or an ISO or MSQH certificate, its profile says so and links to the page where it appears. We have not verified any of these. Confirm a dentist's registration with the clinic and with the Malaysian Dental Council.
What "verified" does and does not mean
We do not verify, inspect or endorse clinics, and no listing carries a "verified" badge. The "data last checked" date on each page is when the source data was last collected, not a date we audited the clinic.
How the data is refreshed
The directory is rebuilt from a fresh collection of Google Maps data and a crawl of clinic websites. The most recent collection behind this site is dated in the byline above. Ratings and review counts can change on Google between collections.
Corrections and claiming a profile
If something is wrong, or you run a listed clinic and want to correct or claim its profile, emailhi@dentistselangor.com. Every clinic page also has "Report inaccurate info" and "Claim this profile" links that prefill the email with the page address.
Who runs this
Dentist Selangor is an independent directory of dental clinics in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. It is run by Faiz Azizan (drfaizazizan.com). The directory is not a clinic operator, a government body or a referral service.
